The University of Greenwich was awarded a Silver rating in the Teaching Excellence Framework and has won three Queen’s Anniversary Prizes for Higher and Further Education. It is continuing to expand its campuses and facilities with a further £150 million of improvements under way.

Entry requirements for Indian Students:


Undergraduate entry requirement:


For entry to our four-year extended degree programmes, you will need to have met the following:

  • Standard XII with a minimum of 50%

  • 70% in English in Standard XII or English language requirements

For standard entry to our Bachelor's programmes, you will need to have met the following:

  • Standard XII with a minimum of 60% (70% for Law, Architecture)

  • 70% in English in Standard XII or English language requirements

Some Bachelor's degrees allow advanced entry to year 2 or year 3, depending on your study history.

For advanced entry to Year 2 and Year 3 you will need to complete:

  • Year 1 of a relevant degree with a minimum of 60%


Postgraduate entry requirement:


For entry to our Master's programmes, you will need to have met the following:

  • Four year bachelor degree with a minimum of 55% in Final Year (However, if graduating from one of the top universities: Mumbai University, Savitribai Phule Pune University (Pune University), Calcutta University, Delhi University, Bangalore University and Madras University; a minimum of 50% in final year is required)

  • 70% in English in Standard XII or English language requirements


Note: Not accepting Standard XII from Punjab or Haryana boards - refer to English language requirements


Note: More specialised courses require four year bachelor degree with a minimum of 65% in final year.(However, if graduating from one of the top universities: Mumbai University, Savitribai Phule Pune University (Pune University), Calcutta University, Delhi University, Bangalore University and Madras University; a minimum of 60% in final year is required)





English language requirements


Undergraduate applicants

  • BA, BSc Degrees IELTS 6.0 with 5.5 in each skill

70% in 12TH Standard Examination from central and state boards (excluding Punjab and Haryana) when entire secondary education has been completed in English medium.



Postgraduate applicants

  • MA, MBA + MSc Degrees (Business School) IELTS 6.0 with 5.5 in each skill

  • EU and International: £13,000-14,500

Accommodation:


Accommodation is guaranteed for all first year Greenwich students. Avery Hill and Medway accommodation is based very close to their respective campuses, while students at Greenwich will have either a 5 or 10 minute walk depending on which rooms are taken.


The University can also help find privately rented accommodation and guarantees that all new students will be offered a place to live, either in a hall of residence or in University of Greenwich-approved housing.
